Calling all makers, painters, sketchers, sewers, knitters, crocheters, jewellers, sculptors, crafters, bakers - amateur or professional. Might you be able to make/donate something for our Live Kindly online auction this autumn?
Possibly featuring Ruby’s motto - Live Kindly Live Loudly - or themed around it in some way. (Or not; it’s entirely up to you.)
We’ll be marking what should’ve been Ruby‘s 23rd birthday this October by raising money for her fund with Children's Cancer & Leukaemia Group - supporting vital research to find more effective treatments for T-cell leukaemia & lymphoma.
We'd also be very grateful for other donations, such as stays in holiday cottages/AirBnBs, vouchers for classes/courses, collectable items - anything that someone might want!
We've already had promises of some fabulous items (huge thanks!) including:
Sculptures of jays (Ruby's middle name) in wire (by animalsinwire.co.uk) and papier mache (by SandiemSutton.com)
A painting by SallyMuir.co.uk
A custom cake iced with Ruby's motto Live Kindly Live Loudly
A painting of Ruby's beloved Brockwell Park by Sophy Bristol @sophybristol
A case of fine wine
A hand crocheted 'temperature' scarf depicting the temperature in London over a year by Ruby's friend Livvy
Hand crocheted coasters by Ruby's friend Tasmin
And more!
If you can donate anything, please fill in this form - and if you know anyone who might be able to get involved, please do share this with them. Thank you so much ❤️
Blood cancer kills around 150 children and teenagers every year in the UK - and tens of thousands worldwide. With your help we’re funding research that will bring that number down. Every penny raised will go directly to support this vital research.
For a future where all the young people survive cancer 🎗️🤞
