Live Kindly Live Loudly at KindFest 2023

We were thrilled to have the chance to share Ruby's motto - Live Kindly Live Loudly - at 'KindFest 2023'.

KindFest is an annual celebration of kindness that is held close to World Kindness Day (13th November), which exists to focus on the positive power of kindness. KindFest is organised by TeamKindUK, a Community Interest Company powered by volunteers who believe that kindness can change the world and that kindness is needed more than ever. The group exists to promote, learn from, share and celebrate kindness.

In an interview with Clare Ruby fro KindFest, we talked about what kindness meant to Ruby, why it was so important to her, and how we use her motto in creating a legacy for her. We talked about our focus on raising funds for research to find kinder treatments for childhood cancer, and of the incredible kindness that has been shown to us by others in our fundraising.

It was absolutely wonderful to see Ruby featured on the programme alongside inspirational speakers including Mary Nightingale, Sarah Browning and Nick Ede. Huge thanks to all the organisers for putting a great event and for allowing Ruby to be part of it.
