Today marks two years since Ruby died; an incredibly hard milestone. We continue to remember her by fundraising to find better treatments for T-cell blood cancer. A few weeks ago, we emailed a number of places where we'd spent happy times together as a family, telling them about Ruby and asking if they'd donate a raffle prize. We've been blown away by their generosity! You can read about all the prizes and buy tickets here and the raffle will be drawn on 30 May.
First prize is a week's holiday on the beautiful island of Tresco, Isles of Scilly (Sep-Apr, excluding main school holidays but including October half term, up to 6 people in a self-catering cottage). We're hugely grateful to the Tresco Estate for donating this fabulous prize. We spent many wonderful family holidays with Ruby on Tresco and have so many happy memories from there.
Other prizes include a swanky afternoon tea in Covent Garden, dinner in Knightsbridge, a cookery course of your choice for two, £100 to spend at Thrift+, a stunning Live Kindly Live Loudly cushion by Lisa Vaughan-Thomas, a Sophy Bristol painting, a Thames Rockets adventure for two, dinner & bowling at All Star Lanes, a bespoke necklace from Posh Totty Designs - and many more.
A reliable treatment for relapsed T-cell blood cancer hasn't been found yet. Eventually, we're aiming to eventually raise £500,000, which is roughly what the NHS spent trying to save Ruby. You can read more about the research already being supported through Ruby's fund here.
Thank you so much for your support!
